Ok, here’s the deal… over the past several months, our team of programmers and developers has been adding just about any sort of float-in, bounce-in, window effects, peeling windows, and alerts that you can possibly come up with for a popover style and feature. During these months of development, we’ve spent several thousand dollars developing what we (and unanimously by the beta-testers) feel is THE BEST software of it’s kind.
With that being said… I’m willing to bite the bullet and give away 2 FREE copies of Instant PopOver 3.0 to 2 lucky winners!
There will very likely be NO more free copies of Instant PopOver 3.0 given away, ever. So, now’s your one and only chance to get in on this.
We’re running a contest to see who can come up with the best money making strategy for using Instant PopOver 3.0.
Think of ways that you can implement the various styles, add to the styles with a creative method, develop an effective way to give away discounts, increase attention, build your leads and then describe how you can capitalize on those leads, etc… etc… Be creative! I find that brainstorming with even the smallest of thoughts opens your mind up to bigger and better ideas.
Those that have watched the Instant PopOver 3.0 video last week should have a better grasp on what Instant PopOver 3.0 can do. If you haven’t watched the video yet
…………. CLICK HERE to watch! ………….
So, here’s all you need to do.
1. Submit your “Comments” at the bottom of this post and leave a detailed strategy on how you’ll use Instant PopOver 3.0 to make X amount of dollars in a certain time period, or build X amount of subscribers in a certain time period.
IMPORTANT: The more detailed and step by step, the greater chance you will be one of the lucky 2 winners.
Be sure to come up with your strategy and post it before this Monday, at 10:00am EST, which is when I am closing the contest.
2. I will be personally reading and reviewing every single money making strategy posted. The winner will be announced on Monday afternoon AND will get a free copy of the software before the official launch day!
Let’s hear how you’ll use Instant PopOver 3.0 to make more money online. Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. This should be fun and exciting for everyone because:
- Everyone will benefit from the ideas of others, so even if you don’t win a copy of Instant PopOver, you’ll still come away with a lot of great ideas to make more money online!
- You have a chance to get a copy of IPO for free… so it’s a win/win for everyone!
Good luck!

My first ideas are to try to incorporate the peeling ad popover to increase click-throughs on my site and for my discounts. I offer a lot of discounts on my site, but they are sometimes hard to find. My sales increase a lot with discounts, so this will be my first method of implementing Instant PopOver.

I make most of my money through online promotion of products via Clickbank, PayDOTcom and Commission Junction. I create landing pages to catch both email addresses for my mailing list and straight sales.
I use a combination of tools, including Keyword Elite, SEO Elite, Affiliate Elite and HyperVRE to accomplish this.
I plan to implement InstantPopOver and all landing and squeeze pages to collect subscribers for my AWeber lists, to make special announcements by catching the visitors attention and to give away free products and ebooks to “sweeten the pot” a bit.
I’m looking forward to another great product, Matt, and I hope I’m chosen as a winner of your newest.
Thanks.

Wow - this is a great opportunity! Even if I don’t win, I think this will really help a lot of people. Very cool idea, Matt. Thanks.
Here’s my thoughts. The end-goal for me is to build a list of potential customers by giving them their choice of a free downloadable gift OR a free postal mail gift. If they choose the postal mail gift, then they pay for the shipping and handling. I’ve never tried this before, but have been wanting to for quite some time now since there are a lot of people talking about direct mail conversions. Anyway… so first, I need to set up 2 autoresponders with follow-ups for my larger backend product (larger is not actually that “large”, only a 97 dollar product). The reason I’m setting up two autoresponders is so that I can track which method works best at converting leads to sales. Now, I’ll implement Instant PopOver in two ways. 1. I will use the float-in popover method to grab their attention at the very start. This is key because the main goal of my site will be to get them to sign up for this free offer(s). In the past, any free offer that I’ve given away on my site hasn’t used this method, so I’m looking forward to trying it out. Inside the float-in popover will be the two products that they can select from. I’ll have a checkbox inside the popover for them to select which one they want. I’m not sure how to do this yet, but what I’m wanting to do is if the user doesn’t sign up for either one, I will make my exit popover appear with a “similar” offer, but will only give them the option of signing up for the postal mail copy and I”ll give them something else too as an incentive to signup. Then, further down on the same webpage, I will have an alert popover that will open by a button. This will shade the background and open a window that plays a video explaining my free offers.
I think that’s enough mind-working for now… I’ll add to this later if I think of more.
I’m excited to hear some others, though I think this idea could be the winner! :p

I currently have a peel-away ad on my site, but have always wished for the ability to combine peel-away ads, pop-ups, pop-unders. and etc. The software I have used to create these in the past has been cumbersome to use. PopOver 3.0 will eliminate that problem! I expect that this wil allow me to easily double the number of leads I derive from my website, and, thus, my conversion ratio should go through the roof. can’t wait for the initial release; it will be like a Christmas gift that I cannot wait to open!

G’day All:
I think this is a great multi-capacity tool!
I have several sites across a few niches and I feel strongly that this would assist in a unilateral way to 1) build several lists at once
2) make a special offer without interrupting the flow of my content sites, which is to me very important, seamless integration !
3This can then enhance a couple of my membership sites with a special offer to them that blends well.
4) Great tool to add special content and test its reaction with different headlines throughout.
5) honestly, I will also experiment in its other uses with various messages and message systems I use also, theres other ways to unleash this I can just tell in my gut!
Thanks, Have A Great Day

It occurred to me that some of the options in this tool could be used for a splash page and/or optin box.

Registration to my site is free and I intend to use the exit popup for those that leave the page without going to the registration page to push them into testing the system out TODAY.
I have seen the affect that pop ups have on sign ups and making people “think twice” before leaving a website and love the idea of this software and its ease of use.
It will help us realise our goal to increase membership by 5,000 within the next 2 months.
Whilst we always had this target in mind the instant popover software will give us a distinct advantage in realising this goal. We belive that we might even ad another 20% to the final figure.
The next stage will be to ue instant popups on the members page to encourage members to refer a friend to DiJiJog.com and the new service DiJiService.com which launches soon.
Referrals are a great way to increase business and instant pop ups make this SO much more powerfull.

Another awesome internet marketing tool from Matt Callen! The presentation was great, clear and concise! Keep up the good work! I would love to win a copy of this software or hope that you have an affiliate program for it!
Comment by Mark Waite — January 24, 2008 @ 12:59 pm
I’d be looking to:
1) Use the peelaway ad to offer a ‘discount now’ offer - same product but 20% off.
2) On my blogs any of the pop-overs could be used to bump up subscribers to my RSS feed or e-mail subscription option (via Feedburner etc.)
3) To have a discounted price offered via a pop-under if the visitor was leaving the sales page, and site, without moving to the ‘buy’ page.
4) For my high traffic sites with low Adsense revenue, request a visitor ’share their knowledge’ by going to a Poll page which would be monetized.
Nothing lost by trying that as it would all happen in a new window so whatever they did they’d still be back on my main site.
I could no doubt come up with more but I’m trying to earn some money here goddammit! Who has the time?
Cheers, and looking forward to the release ( I enjoyed the old version too).

Hey Matt, thanks for having this contest. Knowledge helps us all to succeed. Great ideas one and all thus far! Incorporating instant popover into everything that you do would increase sales, list opt-ins etc. If one were so inclined and technologically saavy enough, they could also potentially use this software for affiliate sales of IPO to discount your own share of the sale if this would be allowable and or possible.
Sometimes it’s simply a matter of price for folks to buy a product, if they feel like there getting a better deal they are much more inclined to purchase. A partial sale is always better than no sale and with this amazing software we can all test just how true that is.
Some folks don’t know Matt and his brother Brad like we do. You always get what you pay for and more at a reasonable price and it is always cutting edge software.
Comment by David — January 24, 2008 @ 1:14 pm
Hi Matt,
As always you’ve put together a great product that any business owner could use to increase sales and get prospects to take action when they’re visiting our Websites.
Before I tell you my ideas, I wanted to point out one thing that I noticed about the video. You know how it is when you’re trying to learn something new, and you can get so focused on worrying about whether or not you’re going to be able to learn it - that you can actually give up before you start? Well, when it comes to technology, that’s how I feel!
Which is why I was so excited to watch the video - as I watched how simple it is to create the different kinds of popovers, I realized how easy it will be to completely customize the entire process and use popovers in almost every type of marketing or sales campaign.
I’ll bet by the time this contest is done, you’ll have literally hundreds of ideas for using popovers to make more sales that can be put into place in just a few minutes!
Here are a few ideas I came up with.
Let’s start with the exit popover. I was reading a report that says over 75% of people who abandon an item in an online shopping cart do so for one of these three reasons: 1. Concerns about security, privacy or returning unsatisfactory merchandise.
I’ve had clients who wanted to use popups to offer a discount for people who are leaving their website. I don’t recommend that, because I think it turns your product or service into a commodity with price being the most important factor.(And if the sales copy is written right, there’s almost always a way to move away from that.)
So what about using the exit popover to take someone to a one question survey. Tell them you’re sorry you weren’t able to help them, and ask them what they were expecting to find? Give them a gift (related to the information or product they were searching for, and include free subscription to your newsletter - and mention how easy it is to unsubscribe.
For the rest of the popovers, there are so many ideas. What about using a fade-in popover to tell your customers that you’re running a marketing test, and that if they make their purchase within the next XX minutes, they will also receive…(insert something your target audience finds valuable)
Check your site analytics - what pages are your biggest bounces? Do you know why? (If not, you should.) Use a popover to help them find what they’re looking for. Give a link for more information or to a FAQ page.
Cross-Sell them - if you’re selling a fondue maker, use a popover to let them know about your fabulous new book with fondue recipes.
Use a popover to lead someone to a case study.
Use a popover to share important or timely tips.
Use popovers to announce a new post to your blog or something new on your Website.
Use a popover to announce a contest, or the winner of a contest.
Use a popover to make many different kind of special announcements.
I think the thing that will make the biggest successes happen with this fabulous new tool is for all of us to dig down and understand our prospects and our customers, and know exactly what it is they’re looking for. Then we can find hundreds of creative ways to over deliver and delight them with useful products, services letting the popovers catch their interest and whet their appetites.
(And of course, as you’re reading this, I hope you’re thinking that I would be the perfect person to win a copy if it…)
Thanks!

What can I say, I have been following all the products that these 2 genius brothers are making and everything that they do are incredible and I don’t know how they came up with these amazing softwares. I’m a newbie in internet marketing and I want to buy everything that they produce but I just don’t have enough money right now but when I do watch out, I will be buying everything that they produce. A lot of times I just sign up without even reading the whole details because I know I can trust them and I know that once they come up with a product, it’s always on top. Thank you guys for giving us a lot of help to make us succeed. God Bless both of you.

The definitive method to promoting InstantPopOver (I.P.O.)is to USE IPO to promote IPO. It works. So why use any other method? Also I would run multivariate testing to optimize the conversion rates so “May the Best PopOver Win!”
I’d test multiple versions of popovers and multiple versions of promotional copy. Naturally, I’d end up with the best converting popover for my traffic and market.
The text for my promotion would be an affiliate program promoting IPO. Nothing works better than viral promotions. Likely there’s viral affiliate programs out there. This is what I imagine would make both you and I the most income.

Very clear video and instruction. I would like to use it these ways : 1s I would use it on a blog as an arrival pop over. Because you can add html
you can add a counter and a message that directs them to many different affiliate products and programs at the same time capturing there email
and address. I would also have the message say :
congradulations because you arrived at this site I have some free stuff just for coming.
The possiabilities are endless. Peel away when they arrive exit pop over to keep them there.

Here is how I would use this system.
#1. I would have a true opt-in page where they can leave their contact info with “NO INCENTIVE”. This would help me determine if they are interested in the subject matter that attracted them to my Sales Letter. Based on this, I would use a particular series of auto responder messages to target this group at a higher level of sale potential.
I would send this group to a Sales Letter that would have a different type of exit-pop up that might offer a discount to buy now or not have an exit pop-up at all if I’ve already gotten them to opt-in.
#1b. I would use the exit pop-over option as part of my opt-in pages to give people a choice to proceed to my Sales Letter page “without” having to give there contact info, but make this option only available if they attempt to leave the opt-in page all together. If nothing else this will buy me a little more time and at least one more chance to win their confidence enough to where they will opt-in to my list.
#2. Those that click on my opt-in page’s exit pop over would be able to click on the same Sales Letter that would have specifically different types of message written into the pop-over(s).
I would use the sticky note or fade in option on this particular Sales Letter page to offer a “special” incentive for them to go ahead and opt-in to my list once now that they’ve had time to check out my Sales Letter and had a chance to feel more comfortable with what I’m all about.
Those who opt-in under this option would get a different series of auto responder messages targeted to their level of interest in the product.
#3. Hopefully this tool will allow another and final exit pop-over if they decide to leave the Sales Letter without opting in to the first pop over and/or chose not to buy the product. I would use this exit-pop over as a THANK YOU page and offer them a really nice “incentive” to opt-in to get it for free. I would have this opt-in auto responder targeted toward their particular level of interest and price the product accordingly to get the sale.
To decrease the pop-up overload aspect I would work on the timing/spacing of the fade in or sticky note in that they wouldn’t see them if they tried to exit the page in under 10 to 15 seconds, they’d only get the final exit pop over message.
By using the system in this way, I would get up to 3 chances to get them on my list and get more chance to make a sale.
Note: I would be interest to know if adding audio to the pop over is possible?

7. Give away special reports
8. Reviews, Surveys

I haven’t use any of these method before because I don’t have any software to produce such and don’t have time to develop my own script, so I believe it will be very useful for me. I have a bunch of idea if I can have an easy to use software to produce such and I think your software will be very useful. In order to win, here is my idea;
1. Create a squeeze page.
2. Put a peel off to warn customer about time critical or increased value had happen and will be happening within next… (will be decided by the webmaster/seller) or a today’s special discount. Will be great if there’s also a live running timer.
3. After a xxx time or scrolling to the bottom, a pop over will come up to warn about how much time left or how many people had buy the product and increasing price that will happen. Also could be a special discount for the first xxx customers.
4. When someone about to leave, exit pop over will ask them to join the newsletter so they can reserved the current price that will only available for xxx number of person only and also have the chance to get special discount on upcoming products along with great tips related to the use of the product or a gateway to direct them to another special offer (could be an upsell or irresistible part of the product) after they fill in. Now these tips in the newsletter or the special offer provided of course will also be some kind of teaser for them to buy the product.
5. In the exit pop over could be some sentence like “currently available xxx reserved for this price, fill in and find out if there’s space available for you” or “I have an offer for you just because reading this page, you can have ??? just by filling in the form below”
Well, I haven’t set up such page since I’m still refining my idea and gathering resources I need and your program definitely one of the resources I really need. Would you give that to me?!

Incorporate and test different types of popovers to reduce inventory overhead by 30% at discounted price levels.
If customer does not order, follow-up with exit opt-in option for free report to topic related item, capture name and email.
Additional cash flow placed back into business
from excess overhead alone, estimated $4,897.00 in 30 days.
Additional subscribers added to niche lists 600 per month.
Front-end sales through follow-up of those opt-ins within 30 days.
est. 2% convert @ 63.97 average profit per sale = $767.64
Estimated 30 day earnings by implementing Instant PopOver onto network of niche
sites: $5,664 and change!
Estimate does not include backend sales… Holly Buckets!

Matt,
We’re very new at this and had never heard of pop ups until yesterday when I viewed the movie. I truely believe this software would be of a great benefit to us. I’ve read over most of the other comments and most are much more experienced with these kinds of materials than we are.
My husband and I are seniors citizens and live on a very limited income and we just got our first website “live” about 6 weeks ago. In these 6 weeks, our site has only produced 2 orders. I was really intrigued with all the possibilities of this software and believe it would be an awesome product for us and could potentially create a lot of traffic and income. But because we’re so new to all the possibilities, I honestly am not sure of all the ways I would use this product, but am sure I would learn. First, I would do something for an “attention getter” and direct customers to another great page(s) and try to have them stay awile on our website. We have over 400 products that will help keep their attention occupied for awhile. We’d love to be winners as, most likely, we won’t be financially able to purchase the new software. Carol

Wow… what incredible possibilities a user will have with this power of InstantPopOver software program; it’s actually endless!
I personally would use it for:
Sticky Note PopOver - A grand way to establish yourself to your guests by using a personal photo of YOU, especially for the cool fact of being able to add your own everlasting images.
Windows Effects PopOver - This is a classic folks, a bitch’en spot for adding Personal, Product Intro, YouTube video’s and or audio’s, pod cast, MP3’s, etc. Outstanding….
Float-In Instant PopOver – Great for FREE give a ways, list building and special sales.
Peel-A-Way Ads - Inspiring quotes or humors jokes & pictures that will enlighten and make your prospects feel good and feel the need to click the button to observe what’s on the other side of elation.
Alert Instant PopOver – The “at this moment” factor – extraordinary deals, on-line & off-line conference calls, business updates, products launch, list building, it’s your customers or prospects ALERT to take action NOW! You name it…
Exit Instant PopOver – An awesome way to redirect your customers and prospects back to the very same website they just left by reminding them of
missed opportunities “take another look” on the previous website.
In addition to many other great offers, deals, newsletters, list building, articles, e-zines and blogs.
Matt & Brad, you did it again! Very simple to use software and I can’t wait to get my hands on it ASAP so I may update my website with all of my ideas above, and more.

I want to experiment with Instant PopOver on HTML email. I am kind of bored getting usual plain text and HTML email.
Popover is way saturated on the web pages all over the Internet. I haven’t seen even one single HTML email featuring any of them.
We need to revive excitment of using Internet as before in the old glory days of the 1990’s.
Comment by Saw Pe — January 24, 2008 @ 5:26 pm
I plan on using it for free give aways… Very attractive and clickable, you almost can’t help but click. So I know I will get a ton more subscribers to my sites. I have one suggestion, if at all possible… Can you make a pop-over that resembles a lottery ticket that your subscribers can take a virtual coin and start scraching. I think this can have a pretty high click-through. What do you think?
Comment by Frank — January 24, 2008 @ 5:30 pm
Follow up to first comment I posted..
As I state previously, I want to use Instant PopOver in HTML email to excite both existing subscribers and customers. I am aware they checked and read emails then ignore the link.
If they see Instant Popover, they may be more hyper-receptive to the mystery of what’s in there and respond. Sales should increase at least 20% and responsive rates should be at least 70% of existing subscribers and customers on list.
Comment by Saw Pe — January 24, 2008 @ 5:45 pm
Hello Brad,
I will use the peel away like widget and incorporate a voice of a woman to respond to a visitor.First, my peel away ad won’t disturb the visitor to my site but will be showing him/her that there is an advert on the corner and in case he sees it ,he will be just take direct to the offer displayed behind it.
secondly,it will have another effect where by when the visitor is trying to leave my site, the voice of the woman incorporated will request the visitor to have a look before he/she leaves the site.Once it is click on,an instant popover will be displayed and in this pop over, I will incorporate a man or woman speaking enticing this visitor to take up a free gift in turn for a favour like I will include social bookmarking sites on that same pop over and request to bookmark it for others to see in the bookmarking sites. This will increase traffic to my site both when using pop over and the bookmarking sites. And before the visitor gets the gift,I first incorporate a tell a friend script like Ultra refer so that he/she can reffere as many visitors to my site as possible before s/he gets his gift. This will drive a lot of traffic to my site and at the same time build my list at a ligthening speed.
Comment by ssentamu — January 24, 2008 @ 5:53 pm
Use it to impress upon the visitor your USP. There is no more important message, so you may as well blast that into their conscious/subconscious in an immediate and unexpected way, thus increasing the chance of turning a quick-clicker into a customer.

Hello:
international-childrens-medical-foundation.com (ICMF) is a non-profit, 501-c-3 all volunteer foundation providing free medical care for medically needy children. ICMF does not have a list, nor does our AgapeTreasures.com fund raising site. We have only recently turned to internet marketing as a venue for generating revenue for our non profit charity.
If we won a copy of PopOver 3.0 we would utilize the i.e., peeling ad popover (we like this one!) to increase click-through to a page that would offer the reader several “specialty” list signup options that would include, but not be limited to: a newsletter, information on how to become a Temporary Volunteer Host Family, how to donate medical supplies to be sent to the mission field, how to be a part of a U.S. hands on construction project, how to be a part of an overseas mission field project, etc.
PopOver3.0 would help us reduce ’spam’ and our subscribesr would be receiving email from us that would be of “specific” interest to each of our website visitor, thus reducing the amount of email recipient ‘deletes’ which, in turn, would create greater support, helping us ‘Make A Difference ~ Give Hope’ to medically challenged children.

Hi Matt,
Wow! This is a excellent product! I cannot wait to get my hands on it!
I will use the Instant Pop-over in several ways…
here’s a few for you:
Firstly, a float-in pop-over on my order confirmed page providing a up-sales offer. I will basically provide a discount for a larger order as additional sales goods will go with the same postage, thus increasing my sales and total profits.
Secondly, I will use the Instant Pop-over as a exit pop-over - a “down-sales” offer if a potential customer leaves without ordering.
I will generate more sales this way, I take off some of my bonuses and provide the same product to a bit lower price. I am sure most visitors that otherwise would leave without making a purchase will take the bite!
Finally, I really like the peel away pop-over ads - visitors just have to look what’s on offer!
Excellent Matt! This is a must have piece of software - hopefully your price is reasonable.
Comment by Alex — January 24, 2008 @ 8:48 pm
Looks real nice, hopefully it’s not popup blockable… I had a software by someone else which my norton kept identifying as a security threat and deleating from my computer… So let’s hope this one’s the right thing.
What would I do with it?
I have a few sites for quite different crowds. Serious biz people don’t like popups and all these aggressive annoying ads jumping around the place. for them I’d use a peelawayad with a special reduction in it.
When they leave I’ll use an exit pop - should be one that can tell a return visitor and not bug them.
For other sites like my BuzzuB.info where I have videos (and more services later on) I’ll use an ad that can can be set to show at the right side of the page and move there a little, but not harrase the eyes.
Ideal if it can rotate offers and not serve same one to same visitor.
Well, No point in repeating what was already mentioned above- some pretty good common sense ideas and usage ways.
So, let’s get a bit wishfull thinking visionary here…
The popup would show CPA offers, like PPL and PPS.
Prepopulating forms would be something I’d love to have as a capability. Something in the line of LeadSupreme… Probably a challange to program into a popup, but this would really make yours stand out of the crowd and be most useful!
I think this idea alone should entitle me to a free copy ..;-)
Would be interesting to know how your pops integrate with WP blogs and if they can be widgetized as a plugin.
big market there.
someone made a peelawayad plugin, but it lacks the flexibility of original PeelAwayAds, so something flexible and with so many easy visual editing options like your product would be great also as a WordPress (WP) plugin, I think.
Also would be interesting if one could create PeelAwayAds and other pops for affiliates. So it’ll work that product owner/webmaster hosts the scripts and affiliates get a code hotlinking to script, to show the ads on their sites.
This would be cool also if I want to use it on social media sites, where i have no access to the “” or “” html but can shove in some line of code to my lens etc. like aff’ would do. I don’t know if it would be possible technically - just an idea.
the note pop is nice and can be used as a reminder text in a community site.
designing an ad to go away after some time or rotate, and serve page related pre-inputed ads, maybe even that visitor could shift around out of the way, can be a great place saver on sites with little available real-estate. One can avoid stuffing page with too many ads (visual noise)and just have a rotating movable pop.
Nice one can design own stuff and add it. Send them to me if they need a good clean business ad…
Good launch to you!

I develop custom training for clients. This popup software has great potential and I would use in the following way. I propose couching this in a mini game format, with choices, discovery, and a prize at the end (a free ebook after they enter their name and email). First, for attention getting, a basic premise of Instructional design, a fly-in popup to set the stage with a relevant opener about the product offering. Then I see letting the customer pick clue or fact, then another etc, to unveil a mini training exercise, making it fun and participatory. Once they piece together an easy puzzle, they answer a simple question and get a prize. What fun! What a great product!

Wow! What a product! I will be using all of the various popovers to help sell my products via discounts as well as use them to build my client base with my autoresponder at getresponse.
I like to offer discounts; however, the traditional “discount coupon signup” method seems to detract buyers instead. This product will allow me offer a discount or a free monthly drawing that has a picture of it right on the popover.
Look forward to using it!

Hey Matt,
Wow, what an amazing piece of software! At last, software that will save a LOT of time and boost conversion rates because of the different styles as well as the fact that the popOVER will not be blocked!
No more having to use different pieces of software for all the different types of popOVERS!
I’m currently busy setting up my membership site and can use this to alert people visiting my website in so many ways.
There are definately so many ways in which to use this, but for me, here are a couple of examples I can think of for now… There are so many options to this - I think it can become quite “mind boggling” once you get going
* Special Deals
* Specific instructions or actions I want them to take
* Grow your opt-in list
* Alert them about time-sensitive product launches (whether being my own or a JV partner’s launch)
* Draw their attention to special training sections or seminars
* Insert a text link in one of your articles on your website that can give additional and helpful information to one of your partners’ affiliate programs that can help them (that pertains to the content of your article) - and therefore maybe making your article viral in other ways.
* The “Launch Delay” feature can come in very useful if you want members visiting your site only to see your message after they’ve spent quite some time on your site. As an example, if you have a special deal set up - you can use this to show ONLY to serious visitors.
* If you have a very large website and things are sometimes hard to find i.e job offers etc.
Again, congratulations with this amazing software Matt! I know this will bring you much success and sales in 2008 and looking forward to marketing this.

Hi Matt,
I commend you and your team on creating a great product.
I would create a fun website selling IPO with about 6-7 pages. The nature of the site would be to show 1 or 2 features and benefits of IPO with a different type of IPO on each page. The pages would thus be linked together daisy chain style with the final page selling the product with a few bonuses. The final page would of course include a form to an autoresponder for these benefits
Now don’t get letting the others read this as they may be more creative and add some comical cartoon graphics or something I can’t do yet

I recently started using an Exit Hover Pop, and it’s something I want to run with and expand on.
I’m also about to set-up at least half-a-dozen niche sites each month for the rest of the year, so Instant PopOver 3.0 will be very useful.
It would be handy to be able add any type of Pop Ad I want using a single peice of software. I have a few installed on my PC, but they are all limited in many ways.
My main concern right now is increasing my opt-in rate. Using Pop-Over Ads would be a great way to achieve this.

(And of course, as you’re reading this, I hope you’re thinking that I would be the perfect person to win a copy if it…)
Thanks!

Thanks for this great software and the contest.
To make money I will do online promotion as usual via Clickbank, PayDOTcom or Commission Junction.
I will let people know about this powerful software by writing some good articles or press release and submit these articles into article directories, Digg it, and YouTube.
I will also visit some good forums to tell people there about this software.
I can make a good sales letter in my homepage and tagging it into social bookmarking sites.
Or I can make a special contest like Matt do here. But not from posting comments. The special contest I mean is who can make the best sales letter of this software in his homepage, he will be the winner. We can use a special keyword phrase i.e. “If I have InstantPopOver”

First I want to say thanks for the opportunity Matt.
Well here I go,
Step 1:
I would use Instant PopOver on the landing pages I already have, using diferent styles for TESTING which one is better for each website design.
Step 2:
Where I can, I will try to use different popOvers(Float-in when page loads, sticky notes and an exit popover, for example).
Step 3:
Finally, I would create an Exit Instant PopOver to put it on the Thank You page of the products that I think relate to business, lead generation, list building…(you get the idea), offering my leads\costumers the great new software created by Matt Callen and his team, that I use for creating “pop-ups” and is making wonders for me!
I wish good luck to everybody (but I sure hope to win! :d).
Comment by Cesar — January 25, 2008 @ 12:58 pm
Wow Matt, what can I say? This is one hell of a piece of scripting here. Awesome tool to have in
one’s IM tool box. Hmm Instant PopOver to join the toys of HyperVre, SEO Elite and Keyword Elite,
nice combo, don’t you think? Matt thank you for coming up with such a wicked idea.
I’ve only been in this business for 6 months and am really starting to have a ball. My goal for
2008 is to be up there with the top marketers, so watch this space, you heard it here first:)
My 1st website that I got up an running keeps getting suspended my Google adwords because I have
a pop-up on entry for my subscribers to sign up. I have found that it is this pop-up that does
get 80% sign ups to my newsletter. I have however had to remove it from my website as I don’t want
to get onto the wrong side of Google.
Having the privileged of using this awesome product will help that website grow, I have proved
that my list grows faster having a pop-up, it’s an Aweber pop-up by the way. I would also implement
Instant PopOver on my other four newly formed websites.
How I would also use Instant PopOver is to integrate it into my sales pages using the Peelaway
option to offer either Master Resell Rights or Private Label Rights to the said item I’m selling.
Imagine a potential buyer about to leave the page of a Master Resell Rights product, then “zap” they
get met the exit PopOver offering the Private Label Rights to the product. Double whammy. Cool tool
and cool sale!!
I am also aiming in starting up a membership site, mainly in helping newbies out, by getting
access to some of the markets biggest selling products all in one area.
This is when Instant PopOvers will really play a big part as I plan to use the Instant PopOver’s to
offer either free memberships or entice my visitors by using perhaps the peel away again, to sign
up to a paying level of the membership site offering them a deal they just won’t be able to refuse.
I noticed in the video that you can also choose the option of using the affiliate program to promote Instant PopOvers. What a great way to get everybody using Instant PopOvers 3.0.
As a newbie myself, the purse strings are rather tight at the moment, also trying to pay
off medical bills, so having the opportunity to actually win a copy would be a double win for me.
But no worries if I don’t win, I’ll just have to save up until I can buy Instant PopOver as to me
this IS A MUST HAVE!!
So once again Matt, many thanks for creating this little gem called Instant PopOvers 3.0 and here’s to everybody’s increased conversion rates.
Comment by Val West — January 25, 2008 @ 4:18 pm
I have two ebooks with case studies for keyword elite and hypervre. I will use the pop over to give away these free branded reports as I wait for the viral effect and of course the cash.
I see $$$$ ahead, Thanks Matt.
Comment by James — January 25, 2008 @ 7:28 pm
Hi,
I am a newbie in online business but find that in order to succeed in it, one has to be creative to create value to the site visitors.
Value here means anything that is useful to them be it a piece of information, gifts, promotions, something that can help them to solve a problem, etc. One of them is, for example, if our website theme is to do with “acne product”, and if we find that there are certain useful resources that can help them to overcome their acne skin problem, we could direct them appropriately. I would say, this software can serve to highlight and emphasize this message in a creative and non-irritating way.
I believe this software will help the site owner in a lot of ways but all depend on them on how to bundle it with their marketing efforts to drive traffic to their web site.
Whatever it is, whether you are in an online or offline business, your customer will come to you if they find that they can get five dollars worth (of course, the more the better) from one dollar they spent while shop with you.
Thank you.
Comment by KH — January 25, 2008 @ 8:29 pm
Hi Matt.
Thanks for putting together what appears to be a great piece of software - combining different techniques into one software package is just cool.
My suggestion is as follows:
Using a ‘Float In Pop Over’, so that it hides the underlying copy, I would use it to:
(1) Give a general introduction to my product or service - using a video which has a person speaking on it. This person would walk out from behind copy and announce themselves - as a lone figure - this would add personality and introduction in a verbal form. This introduces a hearing element and not just a seeing element
(2) Act as an Optin-Page to obtain first name, surname and email address and in return for that would make an offer of a free report which would be aligned to the subject or service. Once the information is entered the data would be captured to my autoresponder and an email would be activated to send out the report. As soon as this is completed the Pop Over would redirect to the main sales copy.
An addition to that is that when the person endeavors to leave the page an ‘Exit Pop Over’ comes up and makes a special onetime offer (a reduced price for the item being offered). This will help to capture a sale before the person leaves the site and effectively giving them a second chance.
I do look forward to being one of those fortunate to receive a copy of this software and I would be for ever grateful, as I am a newby to internet marketing.

Hi Matt
What a great idea and obviously it has caught the eye of many by the look of the blogs.
My website is more for information but I could see this impressive product being used as a way to get visitors to look at special products by having a Float in popover appear soon after entry to the site that would highlight a specific animal (in my case) which when the clicked on the note would take them to a seperate page outlining the benefits and photos of this animal. As the rolled their cursor over a photo then another sticky note would appear with two major highlights of this animal. Then as they left the site an exit popover would appear encouraging them to give their feedback, by emailing me, on the animal and the site. This would then get them involved and you would get an email address on a specific area of their interest.
Another thought is could the concept of a popover be used with emails which could help advertise your site and specials with each email you send.
Also is there any way of including a popover that allows you to put your own special picture in it, this would make it more personal.
Good luck Matt.
Comment by Ross — January 26, 2008 @ 2:06 pm
Hi Matt:
First of all, I would like to thank you for giving me an opportunity to look into the presale video for the wonderful software Instant Pop Over(IPO). The contents of the video were awesome. You and your brother Brad are indeed a great blessing to the IM community!
The Instant Popover tool will enable more user interaction on the web. The possibilities of the use of this tool is really limited to one’s imagination. You have done a great job of creating this tool that would help capture user attention.Kudos to you and your team!
And now for the contest entry.
My objective:
1.To make a subscriber list of around 5000 within two months.
2. To double the income(2X where X can be $5000) I make on the website using the tool (in around 30-60 days.)
Here is how I would accomplish that.
First of all, as a generic rule, the popover selections I make using this tool will be specific to :
A.–> the target market
B.–> the type of traffic.
(This is because there are differences in user responses to these sneaky popover/popunders. So the selection criteria should be based on the audience mindset. The idea here is to use this tool to evoke an user response that is favorable and profitable to the marketer.)
Strategy 1: Building my 5000 member subscriber list
To do this, I would create a landing page with a
- slide in that is triggered after 4 seconds.
- if the person subscribes, a thankyou page in the form of a pop up will be displayed on the page.
- if the user clicks exit/back button, I would present a captivating peel away ad to make them respond.
- I would use Google’s placement targeting to bring in qualified traffic using pertinent Myspace groups.
- I would use my autoresponder series that include popovers for special giveways, discounts or surveys.
- Depending on the subscription response I would expand promotion of the landing page to direct response and/or classified ad networks.
Strategy 2: Double the income on the website.
1. Use the IPO as a website analytics tool.
- Use the awstats on the cpanel to identify pages with high bounce rate. Use an exit popover on that particular page to analyze the reason for the user behavior.
- Use exit traffic to respond to surveys/reviews.
- Analyze shopping cart abandonment using the sneaky windows-interface like exit popup. This will give real-time prospect feedback on why and what is happening.
- Create different style popovers and do split testing to analyze user preferences.
- Use a float-in popover to higlight value proposition from that of the competitor.
- Use a peel way ad to enable cross-sell /up sell.
- Finally use the stats that were gathered using this strategy and remediate the issues identified.
Strategy 3: Use IPO to test a traffic concept.
- I would like to use IPO to test user response with respect to traffic arbitrage.
- If test is successful then implement it on my website(s).
By meticulously following through on the strategies I mentioned above, I should be able to achieve my proposed objective.
Thanks again for the opportunity to participate in this contest and wishing you much success in your product launch.
Regards,
- Sylvia Jayakaran.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for this pre-release opportunity.
I would use it as a list builder.
I have a small network with blogs with several active blogs that have pretty good visitor’s numbers. Currently I’m creating several other blogs in completely different niches but the visitors from my other blogs might be very interested as well in my new blogs. I’m intending to promote one of those blogs enormously and to make it a big one. I intend to make this my biggest money maker.
I would custom fit the pop-over for each blog of mine and run the app purely for building an e-mail list so that I can e-mail all the prospects as soon as my blog is ready to be launched.
After this launch I would use it to create additional lists per blog and test with the lay-outs and the options of your app.
I can make this a very complicated story but why should I; I simply see this tool in use with a catchy sales text as the ultimate list building tool.
I hope I win; there wouldn’t be a better for it.
Cheers
Vincent

Matt, the software looks great and I’d love a free copy. I already know how I’m going to use it. I’m about to release a free giveaway ebook on list building, it’s about 60 pages in length and is a step by step process for building big lists. I’ve incorporated Instant Pop Over into it as a recommended tool for collecting emails .. (All I need is an affiliate link please), I’ll be adding opt-in boxes to my sites promoting the report using Instant Pop Over as soon as I get a copy … plus to get lots of traffic quickly I’ve already got two pages listed on page 1 of Google for your “Instant Pop Over” … so all I need from you now are a copy of the software (if I don’t win it can I have an advance copy ready for your launch .. I’ll pay! And I really need an Affiliate Link now that I’ve got the rankings and free report ready to go … if you want a preview of the free report I’ll let you have one … it would make a great bonus for Instant Pop Over … Its much better than your average free report) Cheers Richard

Matt, IPO seems to be a great tool. It is a lot like many tools I have tried in the past. Some work, most don’t. I already have 2 unblockable popup generators (that don’t work) a peel-away ad generator that doesn’t work properly and several incomplete javascript generators for slide-in popovers (that rely on now non-existent files).
I would use IPO to replace all the junk I bought and start building a much needed list. First thing I would do is have a popover that has my lead capture form box in it. The html function sets your software apart from others. Then I would offer special deals (like for HyperVRE) on my website-tools website and endorse it whole-heartedly.
I bet I could use IPO to build a list of 100 new subscribers in a month. That would be about 10% convertion rate as opposed to my non-existent current rate.
I do get visitors to my lead capture page but no-body seems interestd. I’m sure a good initial popover would do the trick. The proplem is I haven’t found it yet.
